North Yorkshire Karate Group
We are a family oriented club with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. All of our Instructors are CRB checked, First Aid trained and have a remarkable passion and determination to pass on their knowledge to all students.
Our club is a member of The Traditional Karate Federation , we are proud to say that we have recently become full members of SEIWAKAI which has helped us have the opportunity to improve our instructors through training with Shihan Leo Lipinski 8th dan, Sensei Bob Davies 5th dan and many other exceptional teachers.
CLASSES
We run a class at Worsall Village Hall on a Sunday evening from 6.30 pm until 8pm which is open to all ages from 5 upwards and all abilities. The class is run by Sensei Anita Faulkner but there are invariably other instructors on hand and the class is often split to help groups of different abilities get the most from their training. Training at this class is £5 per person per session (£3 for KIDS CLUB) and the registration, insurance and licence for the year is £20 per student However we do offer the first four sessions free of charge for everybody to try us out first before deciding if Goju ryu karate is for them!
Regular gradings are also held at Worsall Village Hall.. We look forward to meeting new people and everyone is welcome to come and have a go or even just watch if you are not sure what its all about!
We have also have mixed classes in Eaglescliffe and Brompton and a new kids class in Eaglescliffe for ages 4+ Any body who wishes to train at a higher level can still come to our mixed classes and we will pass on all opportunities to train with high level instructors as they happen.
