Worsall Village Hall
Local History Group
This group has been established for many years and is affiliated to the Village Society. Following completion of the new hall the group, engaged in a major review of its archive, which led to an exhibition in 2010.
This society was the publisher of the
Millennium Worsall
History Booklet

A large and comprehensive history exhibition was laid on at Worsall Village Hall by members of the Village society in April 2012.
Between 250 and 300 visitors enjoyed free access to the Exhibition as it was funded by the Society. They came from as far as Lincoln and Leyburn and a number of other History groups were present.
With some 70 display boards supported by interesting artefacts the history of Worsall was recalled from medieval times, based on Time Team excavations, through to the present day.
